Birthday Boy

Dylan wanted to pack as much birthday fun as he could into one day, so he started early...like 5:00am early. Apparently he was a little hungry from all of the not eating yesterday...

We call this birthday bedhead.

I wanted to do this project. But because a certain someone was up so early we had to go back later and fake it.

Maybe a bad idea? My birthday present to Dylan - A band in a box. Neven got him a super cool bead maze toy.

Who is a big boy? Dylan rides in the "car car" facing forward!! Thanks Baba, Aunt Karey and Aunt Kara for the fantastic car seat!

We were not the only nerds at the zoo who saw the snakes and made a Harry Potter reference. I s-s-s-s-swear.

This prairie dog totally posed for this shot. In fact, he posed for a few. He must have known that Neven was from out west. I guess he didn't know that Neven was responsible for the demise of some of his relatives...

Our favourite part of the whole day. This baby gorilla played with us for a really long time. He jumped at the window, did somersaults and spun around. Then he took a break for a snuggle with his mama. We followed suit.
