Almost a year later and I thought that I would update the 20 questions with Dylan.

This morning I asked Dylan the following 20 questions. It was fun and you might notice that he is a little interested in ninjago at the moment.

Please note that the picture of Dylan in face paint looks like this because he was being VERY serious. It was a character - army guy. Leah did an amazing job with the face paint. I just wish I had a picture of her little parrot too!

Lawn bowling

Movember has a lawn bowling team for Lawn Summer Nights, a charity raising money for cystic fibrosis. Our team is called "Movember Potato Bowlers". After week two we were in FIRST PLACE! No pressure for the team this past Thursday. :s

We had a pretty good night and we looked pretty good too!

Silent film

Many moons ago I was home on mat leave with an awesome kid. I really can't believe how long ago that was. Jeez.

Since starting the new fabulous job - w00t - I have been thinking about the "silent film" that I made with Dylan when he was about 3 months old. He rocks a wicked Mo in this short. Enjoy.

East coast kitchen dance party

Tonight after dinner CBC2 was playing some fiddlin' tunes. Dylan reminded me that he was a great dancer and showed me a few moves. Then he turned and asked me "one day could I be on a stage?". Of course! Why not right now? So we pretended that the kitchen was the stage and I sat "in the front row". Dylan began to dance.

He probably danced for 15 mins and it was full tilt and amazing. Here are some of the pics I snapped:

May Long Weekend Fishin'

So this May 24 long weekend Dad & a friend from work took me out fishing!

We left Mom at home to catch up on some reading and headed out to Lake Dalrymple.

Sunday TTC Adventure

In Dylan's class, they are studying the TTC. They have set-up a TTC office and take turns having a nap and being crotchety to people. Just joking. They have set-up an office though, and his teachers asked us to share any TTC trips that we take, so they can add it to a big map.

We decided that we should go on a TTC adventure! We weren't exactly sure what we would do, but we left the house armed with a day pass, some snacks and a mission to go by bus, subway train and streetcar.

First we had the bright idea to go to St. Lawrence Market. Not so smart since the market is always closed on Sunday and Monday. I am pretty sure that I knew that, but it just doesn't seem to make sense, so I forgot. Instead, we went to Nathan Phillips Square for a bit of skating.

We have done some stuff

Certain individuals have been holding on to the hope that I will post something here. They have reminded me, implored me to update, and finally are now making fun of me on their own blog. Feel free to go and see for yourself. You have to really look to find the dig, but it is there.

Well. So. Listen. We have done some stuff. Lots of it was super fun. Good recaps of most of that stuff is probably here or here or here.

Sorry. Some day I will get back in the game. We are just having too much fun!

Boozy Babes Returns!

 While you are reading this, the boozy babes have hit the town! Be afraid - we are running loose in the streets of Toronto. Getting our nails did, going for Afternoon Tea, hitting summerlicious, and who knows what else! Stay tuned for what ever portions of the excursion are family friendly. Might not be much!
