Back to work

As you all know (I have been complaining about it for an eternity) I start work again tomorrow. Kinnon (my fabulous replacement, who has been making me look bad) reminded me that it has been exactly a year since my last actual work day - I took a week of vacation before Dylan was born.

I am very proud to say that I am all ready to go. Neven has just endured a lengthy fashion show, helping me pick out a week's worth of outfits, coordinating accessories and shoes. I have the best husband ever. The meal plan is set, rife with slow-cooker meals and other easy fare. I am about to go and get my weekly metro-pass and armed with my pocket yahtzee I will be ready for the hour commute up to York. sigh. I think that it is going to be (as Martha would say) "A good thing."
