Video Funtime

Dylan's favourite new dance move is the spin (demonstrated below). He is really getting into dancing. It sounds silly, I know, but he has always loved dancing and now he is refining his skills. In addition to the spin, he has the quickstep (kind of a flashdance, run in the spot move); the waltz (this move is reserved for slow songs and is a gentle rocking back and forth); the cheek to cheek (asks to be picked up and takes my hand so we can partner dance); and tonight we experienced the amazement dance. We were walking down Bloor and came across a busker playing the violin. Dylan did most of his signature dances and then the player moved on to a new song that had Dylan totally enraptured. He stood - slightly swaying - and gentle holding my thumb, leaning against me for the whole song. Just staring at this violin player. He is a toddler that doesn't really like to be in one spot for more than a second so it was pretty amazing. When we came home, we found some string music to play for him and he again displayed his fine moves! The video below is to some rock - his other fav.
